Designed for finance professionals looking to advance their careers as well as for students interested in launching a career in finance, the MSF program provides a focused, intensive course of study in the technical aspects of corporate finance, business and security valuation, trading strategies, hedging, and corporate reorganization. The curriculum will also be helpful to students preparing for the CFA or CFP exams.The first and only program of its kind in Rhode Island, the full-time MSF program will take one year—two semesters and a summer—to complete. Students may also elect to enroll in the program part time. The MSF program will be offered at URI’s Feinstein Providence Campus.The URI Master of Science in Finance Program is designed for students with a variety of educational backgrounds, such as business, economics, engineering, computer science, or math.
