Photography teaches the aesthetics, techniques, history, and concepts of the fine art photographic image. Our program embraces traditional and digital approaches to image capture and reproduction. Coursework provides thorough training in black-and-white and digital photography, studio lighting, large format printing, and many opportunities to explore alternative photo techniques. Our facility includes spacious darkrooms, a shooting studio, and a computer lab. Equipment includes small, medium, and large-format cameras, extensive electronic flash and lighting equipment, and archival ink-jet printing. Students are encouraged to experiment with a variety of camera formats and other photography equipment items that may not ordinarily be available to them.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of secondary school and all other institutions attended
- Official transcripts should contain the subjects taken and grade information
- Submit official SAT/ACT scores
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 in PBT; minimum 80 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 100
