You will work with issues like tobacco prevention, HIV/AIDS prevention, teenage pregnancy, dental disease prevention, bone disease prevention, diabetes, and many other preventable conditions. As the costs of healthcare and health insurance skyrocket, we pay for the treatment of conditions that are otherwise preventable through increased health insurance premiums and taxes. Accordingly, the number of jobs in this growing career field is expected to increase steadily.
