The Jazz Concentration provides academic, applied instrumental and vocal, and ensemble instruction focused on the development of knowledge and skills necessary in jazz instrumental and vocal performance. Targeted instruction is offered in jazz theory, jazz arranging, jazz improvisation, jazz composition and the history of jazz.
