- Film Studies through the Department of English at Wayne State University gives students the opportunity to major or minor in film at the undergraduate level (BA in Film Studies).
- The Film Studies program offers the annual Turner Scholarship, a competitive scholarship for students majoring in film studies. It also offers annual speakers in film and media studies as part of the DeRoy Lecture series and the Turner Lecture.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
- Students required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
Language Requirments:
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
- Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission.
