Finance is at the heart of every business enterprise, and financial knowledge is highly empowering and enriching for both individuals and corporations. In the Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business, finance students learn deeply about the management of money and other assets, such as stocks and bonds, for organizations and individuals. Courses provide a solid background in many subjects, including:
- Financial markets and intermediaries
- Measuring the risk and return of investments
- Financial management in international money and capital markets
- Functional areas of bank management and related financial institutions
- Recent developments in futures and options
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
- Students required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
Language Requirments:
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
- Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission.
International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
