The management degree in the College of Business and Public Administration is carefully designed to make its graduates extremely competitive in today?s dynamic market for entry-level managers, as well as to give them the background needed to advance in their chosen careers. Management students are introduced to the habits of professionalism and are given opportunity to interact with private and public organizations and to participate in professional activities beyond the curriculum.
The management major prepares students for the challenging task of directing people and activities in today?s private, public, and not-for-profit organizations. Those who study this field at Drake are grounded in the theories, concepts, practices, and ethical concerns of contemporary management and emerging trends.?
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school/secondary school attended showing all year grades and proof of completion of high school
- Submitting SAT/ACT scores is mandatory for test score pathway
- Students with test optional pathway need to submit an essay or attend a personal interview
- Submit a personal essay about yourself
- Submit a recommendation from your high school teacher or counselor
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 71 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 105
- PTE: minimum 48
