In addition, the music program offers a unique opportunity to pursue a career in music in a program small enough for personalized instruction yet large enough to provide a variety of ensembles and special activities. We offer four distinct degree programs in music including the associate of arts?degree in core curriculum with pathway courses related to?Music, the Bachelor of Arts in Music, and the Bachelor of?Science in Music Education.
The Department of Music presents many public performances each year. Student ensemble performances, student and faculty recitals, and world-class guest artist concerts are held on the Dahlonega and Gainesville campuses, and in community venues throughout the northeast Georgia region.
