According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, positions in accounting will grow by 13.1% between 2012 and 2022 with an additional 166,700 positions in accounting and auditing that will need to be filled during that time period.

Students may also choose to pursue their Certified Public Accountant certification. If so, students must complete at least 150 semester hours of college credit and complete a bachelor?s or higher degree.
