The majority of the credits of this program are comprised of art and art history courses; almost all upper-level courses are in graphic design, illustration or digital art and design programming. A year of foundation courses, progress reviews and a senior portfolio are required. The remaining credits are comprised of general education courses. Students are prepared to enter the work force in entry-level design jobs, as the B.F.A. is the preferred degree for design professionals. This program is offered only at the Clarion campus.
