Clinical sites are located both within the Chicago metropolitan area and beyond. The Chicago metropolitan area clinical sites include university hospitals in Chicago, community hospitals, and private labs in the Chicago area.?
Clinical site locations outside the Chicago area currently include vascular labs in Rockford, Moline, Ann Arbor (MI), New Hampshire, Charleston (SC), Tampa, and Seattle (WA). Upon admission, essentially all students must agree to attend a clinical site outside the Chicago metropolitan area for 2 sequential quarters of the 4 clinical quarters.?
The particular assignments will be done following the Winter Quarter of the first year using a lottery system. Final clinical assignments are made by the Program Director working with the Clinical Coordinator and may change at the discretion of the program if necessary.
