One of the first dedicated biotechnology graduate programs in the Chicago area, the biotechnology track within the MS in Biotechnology and Chemical Sciences has trained hundreds of early-career scientists. Our 36-credit-hour program can be completed in as little as three semesters and features core and elective coursework in a variety of biotech-related disciplines. Students can customize their course of study to fit their career experience and professional goals.
The program prepare students for further study toward a doctoral degree and for employment or advancement in industrial and academic laboratories in the Chicago area and worldwide.
