Trauma is a leading factor in the mental health field and can often lead to substance abuse and other social-emotional issues that affect quality of life. Widener?s MSW program prepares its students to understand trauma as a root cause and the effect it can have on a client and community.
Our single concentration in clinical social work provides students with a full range of skills needed for direct clinical practice in human service organizations, including self-care skills for workers. Students graduating from Widener are prepared to become professional social workers.
