We're looking for motivated, highly energized students to explore untapped areas in the emerging field of wellness. The PAFM program will prepare you to plan, implement, and evaluate physical activity programs. Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to help people get active and stay healthy.
Through the PAFM program at SRU, you'll gain knowledge and skills in areas like adapted physical activity, aquatics, outdoor adventure fitness, coaching education, and fitness management. You'll also be trained to work with the most current health apps and technologies.
As a PAFM graduate, you'll be qualified to work in a range of positions and settings, including:
- Adventure Travel and Tourism
- Aquatics Director
- Boys and Girls Clubs
- Community Fitness
- Community Recreation Director
- Fitness Director
- Outdoor Adventure Entrepreneurship
