Bachelor [Physics] From University of Vermont

The Physics program at The University of Vermont offers both a bachelor of science (B.S.) and a bachelor of arts (B.A.) degree. Both degree options allow you to pursue graduate studies or work in industry. 

The B.S. degree has a more traditional physics focus which can serve as a foundation for careers in physics, industrial research, engineering, mathematics or computer science. 

Each year the UVM chapters of the Society of Physics Students and Sigma Pi Sigma organize a series of events for NanoDays, an annual national celebration of nanoscale science, technology and engineering that includes hands-on activities, demonstrations and lectures for the general public. The nearby ECHO Science Center in Burlington often hosts the event. It's one way UVM students give back to the local community.
