They gave me the most financial aid and had the program I wanted in criminology. They have nice dorms and new facilities. Also, they offer different programs than other colleges in Colorado. It's also close to my home.
Course Curriculum
I like the course curriculum. Everything seems to run very well and they have very good professors. All of the professors are very experienced in their fields and enjoy what they do. Each course is different.
Exams
I have only taken the ACT. I got a 27. I have not taken any other exams or college level exams yet.
Placement
I am not quite sure of the job placements and opportunities in relation to the programs. There are a lot of work-study programs available but until I get closer to graduation I will not know how the job opportunities are but I assume that they are good.
Internship
They do provide internships. I have not had much of any experiences with them. I am currently in the process of applying for an internship. In the criminology program, there are many internships and o believe it is the same for the other programs.
Events
There are quite a few events celebrated around campus. They are pretty random and usually change every year. At the beginning of the semester, there is always a fun weekend planned for the freshman to get comfortable around the town and the people which I think is one of the best events.
Scholarship
The process is very easy. I have received enough financial aid to almost cover all of my college. There is a link on the student website once you enroll that allows you to only fill out one application and it sends that one application to a bunch of scholarships.
Examination Structure
The exam structure varies from class to class. Some classes have all the exams and some classes have only papers due. Some classes have written exams, some classes have all multiple choice. It really depends on the professor and it is to their discretion.
Faculty
I really like the faculty in terms of the professors. They are all really amazing and have a lot of knowledge to pass on. I think the professors here are better than or just as good as any larger university such as CSU Fort Collins or Boulder
Hostel
I have been in the dorms my two years being here and it has worked well so far. They are close to campus so you can walk to school every day and also you can walk to the dining hall as well. There are also other types of living but they are not as close.
