I had applied to: Webster University: I got accepted but didn’t like the course syllabus as much compared to the University of Illinois Springfield’s. DePaul: The application was shortlisted. They wanted a mail from my work manager but I did not send it as I had already been accepted in Springfield and also the syllabus of Springfield was much better. Springfield: got accepted and thus joined this university as their course curriculum was the best amongst the others. I chose the University of Illinois Springfield, as the courses and subjects I was interested in were all available in their syllabus of data analytics. Also, I saw in detail the profiles of some of the professors who teach core subjects and they were really impressive. I applied for fall. Purely because spring (January) is extremely cold and I was not prepared for that much cold. Many students think this way so there are fewer students joining in spring. I have applied for 3 universities. They are California State University, Dallas Baptist University University of Illinois Springfield. California state university: This university status is in waiting at the time of my visa interview so I haven't tracked it's status after I got my visa. Dallas Baptist University: I got this admit before I got my admission for University of Illinois. But I waited for University of Illinois Springfield admit. University of Illinois Springfield: I got admit and visa for this University I choose this university because I liked about the culture of this university. I read in online that this university has more facilities and the students and faculty are very polite and friendly in this university. This university accepted the gre and Duolingo courses. The overall admission took little more time than expected but it was a smooth experience I have applied for Fall intake. We should give at least e months of time to get admission. We have to keep the semester start date and apply accordingly and keep the visa interview slot availability as well in mind and we have to apply for admission sir that if there is any delay also it will be useful. I applied for the following universities: Kent State University- Rejected, University of North Texas- Rejected, University of Illinois Springfield-—admitted; and Cleveland State university-Admitted. Got admit from Cleveland and University of Illinois Springfield. Yes, Kent State University, University of North Texas. I got an email that there are more qualified applicants than me. I think there were a huge number of people with more work or research experience than me. I choose the University of Illinois over Cleveland because of the cost of tuition fees and expenses in the city. I got admission through Shorelight; I just needed to submit my resume, IELTS Score and other previous education documents and work experience documents, as well as my Passport for applying in the shorelight portal which forwards them to University and we need to wait till a decision from the university and will receive an offer letter, followed by an i20 for Visa interview. IELTS score and previous educational qualifications are minimum criteria. IELTS score of 6.0 and above is required. It went smoothly through Shorelight and got quick decisions through the university. But only one thing is needed: a deposit to hold admission. My admission process went as such: Applied for Fall 2022. Academics and work experience play a big role along with IELTS score. It took around 2 months. 1st week June 2022: Applied with all documents. 1st week, July 2022- Got Admit. 2nd week, July 2022- University required the following things submitted.
