What Students Say
Likes
- Liked being at an ivy league, being a part of an inter-disciplinary program that was very flexible on allowing me to take courses I wanted.
Dislikes
- Disliked - having a small mostly american cohort; being in school during covid which limited my ability to make friends
Course Curriculum
- Yes. Classes are taught by senior fellows who are from the industry; the average number of students is 30
Admission Experience
- Full scholarship; it is a program at ivy league; course requirements were very flexible - I could learn whatever I wanted!
- There are no strong requirements, but a GRE score above 330 helps in getting a scholarship.
Faculty
- They were all very approachable. I really liked Clare Lockhart.
Campus Life
- Very fun and exciting campus life. You can take courses from any school, join any clubs within your school that you want; libraries were great - it was Yale!
Part Time Jobs
- On-campus jobs pay students minimum wage. Around $10-16per hour. Usually, you can find TA and RA positions, or a course assistant position. It is not that tough. The maximum hours you are allowed to work are 20 hours per week.
Placement
- Finding a full-time job in the US was tough. I found a job 3 months before graduating, but I had to look for several months. Salaries really vary depending on the type of work you want to do.
- Mostly, 90% of people got jobs, but it really depends on whether they got the job they wanted. International students had the toughest time.
Accommodation
- I used online Facebook groups for Yale Housing. I paid around $1k in rent + utilities.
Exams
- SOP, LOR, CV, GRE.
Fees
- It can be $200,000+, but I got a full scholarship.
