Course Curriculum

10

  • My course is MIS, which is a blend of business and IT, and it also includes several AI-related subjects. It offers a very strong and relevant curriculum.
  • Yes, our college has research clubs, and students can work under professors as Research Assistants. It’s a great opportunity, and you receive a 50% tuition fee waiver if you work as a GRA.
  • Classes are held two days a week, with each class lasting two hours. You can choose your preferred days and timings from the available schedule.

Admission Experience

  • I chose AUM because of its affordable fees and international scholarships, well-structured course curriculum, favorable student–faculty ratio of 1:20, and Indian-compatible weather.
  • My TOEFL score is above 95 i think i don’t remember exactly

Faculty

10

  • The faculty at our university are highly knowledgeable, supportive, and very approachable. The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, which allows us to receive individual attention and guidance whenever needed. Most professors bring strong academic and industry experience, making the classes practical and engaging.
  • I had the opportunity to work as a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) under Professor Dr Simmonds, and it was an excellent experience. Working with him helped me gain valuable knowledge and hands-on research exposure, and his mentorship had a very positive impact on my academic growth.

Campus Life

10

  • We have many clubs around campus, including the ISO (Indian Students Organization), which supports Indian students, and SWOT, which helps newly admitted students.
  • There are also research clubs where you can work under faculty, as well as adventure clubs for outdoor trips and activities. In addition, the campus offers a large library and a wellness centre.

Part Time Jobs

  • Students can work on campus for up to 20 hours per week, and the average hourly pay is around $10. If you secure positions like TA, GA, or GRA, you can also receive stipends and tuition waivers, which provide additional financial support.

Placement

8

  • Since I am still pursuing my master’s degree, I don’t have exact information about the employment percentage or the average salary range for graduates. However, the university provides strong career support.
  • Students usually find job opportunities through Handshake, job fairs, internships, networking events, and meetings organised by the career services team. These resources help students connect with employers even before graduation.

Accommodation

Off Campus
10

  • You can stay on campus if you prefer, and the average rent ranges from $250 to $350, depending on whether you choose a 2-sharing or 3-sharing room. You also have the option to stay off campus, where the average rent is around $350 to $400.
