Likes
- Good environment - you can see beautiful location. if you like some places like ooty , forest areas then this is is the best place to join.
- More scope to interact with foreigners.
- Good infrastructure
Dislikes
- Remote area - because it is located in a separate county which is more concerned with the county where you don't have enough facilities .
- Not so near to city - very far from the nearest city almost 70 miles
- Better faculty but can not say best
Course Curriculum

- Thats not so hard and not so easy . If you are a good student in bachelors with some practical knowledge it will be cake walk with lot of practicals. but i can say it is a mix of both.
- Positives are they are good at what they know
- Negatives are we don't have much time to cope up if we are not aware of the course . so need more efforts and practice.
- Iused have weekly three to four days classes . some days i have 2 session s some with just one session.
- We used to have 30 students per class
- Indian students are very minimal in the college around 30 students in the whole university out of which IT students are 20 members. out of which around 13 to 15 people will be Indians in some classes and some classes have only 3 to 8 people.
Admission Experience
- I applied for 3 colleges only and i got admissions from all three . I didn't applied any college with out proper research.
- Texas A&M - admission confirmed
- Wichita state university-admission confirmed with scholarshi
- Arkansas tech university - admission confirmed with scholarship.
- Out of these i have chosen ATU because , in comparison i thought it would be better for my mind set and things are very near to my likes.
- The main thing in USA, where you are staying should be safe. Choosing a safe area is more important than anything.
- To apply this university you need to go through GRAD CAS. This admission process has two steps. after first step approval then you will be forwarded to step two.
- Eligibility criteria are IELTS with minimum of 6 or PTE and GRE with decent score.
- I am happy with my college and probably have no regrets also for joining in this college.
- I applied for fall 2023 and i started applying in may and i got it in one month . i don't think it as a delay even if your admission is rejected they will inform you but takes same time as approval. and i had a plan of masters from the first year of my bachelors and i planned it the way and i applied and i got the admission and visa on time with out any delay.
Faculty

- I think we have faculty ratio of 1 : 25 you don't have any issues with interaction. Everyone are willing to clear your doubts.
- Yes absolutely they use every new method in the best way possible.
- Yes, one of my professors insisted that I help if anything was required.
- I admire abdus siddique the most i am convinced with his method of working as a faculty.
Campus Life

- we have two campuses one in russel ville i studied there and one in ozark. we all sports and libraries and so good medical services.popular events like country nights , basket ball matches , picnics ,art fests , career fests etc.
- what ever interest you have there will be some opportunity to fulfill your dream. just find the group and join the group and have fun.
Part Time Jobs
- Indians mostly shoot the jobs like TA and GA most of them currently working in the campus are indians .pay range is around 16$. and other on campus jobs are like cafeteria, bazz tech , library etc and they have pay range around 11 to 12 $. college allows 20 hours a week at max.right now it works like first come first serve and it does not effect the system . so should be quick to acquire . if you try hard you will get a job for sure.
- Generally indian students mostly works as TA and GA nad also works in cafeteria. usual process is go to the one who manages the part time like professor , cafeteria chef etc and get a letter and submit it to the one who assigns you and run the pay roll and get SSN. then you will be allotted with some credentials to login and you can work and your work will be considered only if you are using those credentials else not.
Placement

- 40 to 50 percent people secures jobs generally with in 6 months . because most of them are local students and they are talented so most of them will be placed with out any issues. Average salary will be from 70k 100k usd . jobs will be found with contacts and networks also platforms like linkedin etc.
- I actually dont have any experience in this because we got graduated just 10 days back. major companies like FANG groups and many local companies will hire.
Accommodation
Off Campus

- Yes i used some telegram channels and i went personally to all the accommodations and chosen one. we all facilities like two bath and washing machine , rent is around $700.
- Lease will not modify it. you need to prove with documents that you are a student. future students no need to worry some senior for sure will be to guide.
- Just 100 footsteps far from college.
Exams
- Ielts or PTE and GRE are required and yes we need LOR and SOP similar to all other colleges and there is no interview in the part of admission process.
- Here, Ielts you should have atleast of 6 score out of 9 that is the eligibilty criteria and gre also they used to i dont know about now . and if in case you dont have ielts then they consider the PTE as the english fluency test.
Fees
- It is credit base and per every subject you will be getting 3 credits and fee for each subject is around $1300 and health insurance per semester is $750 and some missilineous fee around $200 all together per semester .
- I used to pay $4750 and my monthly expenses estimate is i live with 5 people outside college and it generally used to be $400 and if you have a car it will be around $750.
Scholarship
- We have GA and TA positions in college which waive off most of the fee and they also list the scholarships which are available and supported by the college .
- We just need to check and see whether we are eligible or not and should apply.
- These scholarships are not by college , but these are offered by outside college like some by the county , state and charities, also education supporters.
