My college experience was mixed. The academic side of things was excellent while I expected the experience and the network to be a bit better but I can't complain much to be honest. There will always be good and bad people in the world, your life depends on how you build your circle. Scholarship and curriculum were very convincing and felt like this is something that could help me build a better future.
Course Curriculum
The curriculum is fairly relevant. You get to learn a plethora of market skills when you learn in such an environment and get to learn from senior students and their experiences as well.
Exams
- SAT 1450 - IELTS 8.0 - TOEFL 105 - DET 135 - HS GPA 4.0 - CBSE (12th) - 78% - Requirements: I had a CV and a SoP. Along With these documents you should not forget to make sure that you mention all sorts of achievements and accomplishments throughout your high school education. - Interview Round: Yes, I had one round of interview after application.
Placement
We have visited Cisco in Chicago, Google in Detroit and similar companies over the years. Personally, the opportunities in the city of chicago attract me a lot and that's where I would probably end up working following my graduation. Placement process includes 4 rounds of interviews on average and median salary is well above six figures.
Fees
The tuition fees is around 850-900 per credit hour. You are meant to complete 125 credits to graduate. Apart from that you are also supposed to take 12 credits in both fall and spring semester.
Scholarship
I got founder's scholarship 10,000$/ year.
Faculty
The student to faculty ratio is less than 15 which makes it possible to connect and network with faculty so much easier.
Campus Life
Campus has a plush library in the heart of the campus. There is WiFi all over the campus. There are various sporting facilities all around the campus as well.
Hostel
Rentals run from 360 USD a month to 750 USD a month. The average monthly rent is around 500 USD and includes all boarding accommodation that a student needs.
