- Campus Infrastructure is excellent with great opportunities to learn and excel. There is great bus connectivity for students living in the town. Research options are good as well.
Dislikes
- Since the University is away from the city life, it provides less exposure to companies residing in other metropolitan cities. This is possibly the only drawback
Required Exams for Admission
IU Bloomington offers a comfortable experience for students looking for great academic support and local town experience. The campus infrastructure is well spread out and well maintained. I would definitely recommend choosing this University.
Course Curriculum
Course is well structured around the skills required to progress as a Data expert in the industry.
Faculty
A professor usually handles 30-40 students in a classroom. Professors are well distinguished in their specific domains and provide great learning to the students.
Campus Life
Bloomington is a small college town with everything required for a comfortable student life experience. There are plenty of sports activities, campus events, on campus job opportunities for enhanced daily life.
Placement
Most students graduating in my batch were placed in Amazon. Almost all students were placed. Jobs are usually found online and less likely in local career fairs. Median salary was about 100-120K.
Accommodation
Most students in Bloomington prefer to share an apartment. Average rent would be $500. Housing options include Woodbridge, Crescent Park, Fountain Park.
Exams
GRE 155 Verbal 155 Quant; TOEFL 98; These are not mandatory requirements currently.. Three LoRs, CV and SoP must be submitted. Focus on why you want to join the program in your SoP. It defines your admit.
