I have submitted a CV, SOP,3 LORs. in the SOP I have mentioned how interested I am in the university and also how I am a perfect choice for the masters degree at university of Dayton and in the CV. I have shown my technical knowledge by mentioning all my technical projects and also all the certifications that I have done in my bachelors. I’d say it’s good. When compare to other universities that tuition fees, low and also the accommodation near university of Dayton is cheap. If the student really works hard during the Masters then I would really say that they definitely gonna get a job.

Course Curriculum

9

I can personally say that the course curriculum is not that tough but I want to really vouch for the University of Dayton curriculum mainly because it’s really flexible and also it doesn’t really ask the students to take a specification so we can choose the courses from all specification. And coming to the industrial exposure University of Dayton doesn’t have a lot of software companies around it but we generally have a lot of companies in Columbus and Cincinnati which are like an hour away from University of Dayton. so a lot of companies in and around Dayton hire the students from university of Dayton mainly in spring and fall. There is also a lot of research going on university of Dayton. So the students can also take part in the research and if they are really interested they can apply for the PhD after completing the masters by doing a research under any professor for like four or five years

Faculty

9

The faculty to student ratio is around 25 to 1 point to be Harish. Most of the professors are approachable, and I personally feel that the classrooms at university of Dayton are more live and happening when I compare to my bachelors classrooms back in India where the professors used to come in and just put a PPT on the screen and explain it and used to complete the class but here there is always a interaction between professors and students in the classes so that itself makes us to learn and understand the subject more.

Campus Life

9

As it snow even during spring, it doesn’t have a lot of activities during the winter but there will be a lot of events that used to be going on in the fall. In fact, there will be at least one event every day in the fall semester in which every student can take part in And also when coming to the infrastructure of Dayton I personally think that the infrastructure is really great. We also have one of the largest libraries which is 24 hours open. all the classrooms are well equipped. we also have a lot of clubs where students can meet and have some fun plays pool, bowling, swimming, rock, climbing, football and a lot of other sports. University of Dayton has the largest university housing So most of the students generally stay in the university, housing and also it’s mandatory for the master students to take one semester, mandatory university housing.

Placement

There are a lot of companies that visit University of Dayton during the job fares like Intel ,Honda, General electric etc

Accommodation

Off Campus

The university housings has really good infrastructure and fully furnished, after coming to the housing, everyone will be provided with all the amenities like a bed, mattress, pantry, and all the other things that an international student needs. even after one semester if the student wants to go for of campus housing the rents are also very cheap in Dayton so generally per person it would take $220 for accommodation per month. After adding up all the utilities and the groceries. It would take around $400 per student to survive per month in University of Dayton.

Exams

My scores: GRE 138 Verbal 168 Quant 3.0 Writing; IELTS 8.5; Class minimum score: GRE no requirement; IELTS 6.0; No, university of Dayton does not take interview for the applicants. It goes through all of the applications on a rolling basis and gives admissions to the students who meet their requirements. I have went through all the universities online but why I have specifically choose in university of Dayton is that they give admit to the students who are also from other technical backgrounds like myself and the course curriculum at University of Dayton is flexible and also we can go for wide range of courses Unlike choosing a specification. And also the tuition fee is only 25,00,000 INR. I myself who have done my bachelor in electronics and communication engineering wanted to explore all of the branches of computer science and want to do courses in all of the technologies unlike choosing a specification. So the university of Dayton was my perfect choice as it checked all of the boxes of my requirements

Fees

"Per credit -$1055 MS in computer science has 30 credits-total fees-31,650$"

I have received a $2000 merit Scholarship from University of Dayton with the admission.
