The most deciding factor was scholarship. I would also get a purdue degree. IUPUI is closer to my relatives so it is easier for me too. I like going to IUPUI. It is not the best but it is a university that will give you a wholesome college experience. The events, academic and careers are good here. And you will always belonged because of the diverse atmosphere
Course Curriculum
I think the curriculum is good. I haven't taken the core mechanical engineering classes yet but I like most of the professors we have. Next semester as IUPUI is transitioning to Purdue University Indianapolis. They are bringing in a lot of programs in the areas of research, networking, internships. I am quite excited for that.
Exams
My Scores: IELTS 7.5, SAT: 1390/1600, Duolingo: 125, Class minimum scores: IELTS: 6.5, SAT: 1050
Placement
I don't have a estimate about that because the university is splitting and everything is gonna change

Fees
Just Tuition is $33,000 without any scholarship. But iupui has a lost of scholarships available so it is always lower than that. Housing and meal plans cost around $13,000/year. There are some miscellaneous fees too. Without scholarships it costs around $50,000 a year
Scholarship
I got chancellor's Scholarship which is $19k/year. For this you have to apply to the honors college and also had to write an essay. You need to have a 3.5 GPA on US scale too.
Faculty
On average it 13:1. But some of the common classes are huge. But still the professor are pretty approachable, they have office hours and sometimes you can just email them. I would say Dr. Jeffery Watt for calculus is amazing. He is super chill and good at teaching too.
Campus Life
I see IUPUI as a good environment for international students. They have clubs for different ethnicities. I love the Indian association called Desi jags. They have all the main events and I mostly feel close to my culture. Apart from that different schools have their own programs and career centers to help students. I like to study in the university library it is pretty good. We get access to gyms, pool and all other recreational activities if you live on campus. But if you don't They are pretty cheap. WiFi is available all around the campus
Hostel
Rooms are sharing mostly. I would not say it is the best. But if you live on campus for first year. It is a good experience and it is much easier to make friends around.
