Overall experience is very good personally, I found the teachers more supporting in every aspects.
Course Curriculum
The course is divided into 4 pathways, Biodefence, Biotechnology Management, Bioinformatics and Drug Discovery and design so that students can be flexible in choosing their pathway during the masters program based on their need.
Faculty
The Faculty to student ratio is quite good here around 11:1, the classes are also small in size around 20 students per class which makes it easier to have personalized connection with the faculty member.
Campus Life
The campus is little bit small around 90 acres, but has all the requirements and never felt something is missing, it has its own library, sports arena, swimming pool, dinning halls, and on campus halls for undergrads too, moreover they also have campus bus which takes you from metro station to campus and vice versa.
Placement
Being located in DC, multiple opportunities are present across various fields especially for international organizations.
Accommodation
Accommodations are not available on campus for graduate students, for undergraduates there are 3 main accommodations buildings with multiple floor plans options, but is expensive around 1200$/month
Exams
My TOEFL score was 108, GRE was not required but sent as optional. First generation i.e. first one in the family to do masters, get application fee waiver. Had to submit all SOP, 2 LORs and Resume during the application, there was no specific requirement and were the same as with most of the universities.
Fees
Tuition fees are estimated around 1922/ credit and there are usually 30 credits for masters program, so it is bit expensive fee wise.
Scholarship
4700 for two years, no application.
