Course Curriculum
I think they are very well designed to give us an exposure of the various topics which can help us in our research. There are research oriented courses available if research is your main objective.
Faculty
The student-faculty ratio at California Institute of Technology is roughly 3:1, and the institute has most of its classes with fewer than 30 students. The faculty is very friendly and respectful. Since I am new to the campus, I don't have any particular names.
Campus Life
Almost all the facilities, including WiFi, libraries and sports are top-notch.
Placement
Since I am new to the campus, I am not aware on any statistics about placements, but almost every student at Caltech who wishes to join industry gets a good placement.
Accommodation
Los Angeles is an expensive state, but it is easier to manage your costs if you don't own a car. Monthly expenses mostly include food and rent.
Exams
They mostly see how skilled you are in research and in your field. It is optional to submit an English proficiency test result and GRE scores. My scores IELTS : 8.5. I Had to submit SOP (at least 500 words), at least 3 LORs and CV.
Fees
PhD programs have no tuition fees, they are waived off.
