Course Curriculum
Yes we have one practicum and two internship in our second year along with research as well.
Exams
My TOEFL score was 95/ 120. I was not required to take GRE or any other examination. I had to submit three LOR and 2 SOPs and my resume. Key points - LOR- had sent in direct email from university application to my head of department of psychology and internship office to write the same for me SOP- talk about why is it important to get an admit , what do you look for when you study in the university, how will it be beneficial for you Resume- work experience and education, skills - be specific. I had just one round which was online. It was a panel interview wherein the director of the program and other two professors and the enrollment officer interviewed me and asked me about myself and wanted to know how this program would be a good fit for me as I already have a previous Masters degree.
Placement
Yes I believe they do have. They have opportunities during the coursework as well. I am unsure about the pay and number of students placed.
Internship
Yes I will be doing internship in spring and summer 2024. I will be working at a private practice here in town - Inclusive Options therapy services by Angella Allen. It was pretty easy to get a job here. Stipend yet to be disclosed.
Fees
Approx 61k $
Scholarship
I received department scholarship -500$ and international student merit scholarship-$4000 both these for fall and spring only .
Faculty
Student teacher ratio is favorable for growth - 15:1. They are helpful and very approachable. Dr. Darrin Carr, Dr. Ghosh and Dr. John Brinkman have contributed greatly to my experience here at IUPUC.
Campus Life
Student affairs and clubs are active. Study rooms and library is accessible.
Hostel
I stay with my family here but rates for housing is pretty affordable here around 600$ per person monthly sharing.
