This includes the study of neuromuscular function, cardiovascular physiology, the hormonal and biochemical changes associated with exercise, as well as the thermoregulatory responses. Specialty areas such as body composition, pathophysiology, and sports nutrition are also addressed.

The exercise physiology program is designed to prepare you for basic and applied research activities, as well as continued study at the doctoral level.
