The Computer Information Systems major provides a combination of technical computer science coursework as well as several business courses. Such coursework emphasizes on technology information and implementation, organization functions, and concepts and processes of organizational management.

The recommended plan of study for this program starts with an introduction to the world of administration and business. Gradually, the amount of computer work increases entering courses like Database Systems and Software Engineering.
