Bachelor of Science [B.S] [Human Factors & Safety Flight] From Florida Institute of Technology

The human factors & safety with flight program degree develops a strong background in aviation with experience in modern aeronautical technology and flight operations.
While this program focuses on the business side of aeronautics, students can choose a variety of options to enhance their degree including airline pilot, air traffic control, FAA Dispatch, and/or Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).

Build Professional Relationships

Our classrooms and flight line are staffed with faculty who have years of experience within the industry, including experienced pilots and experts in areas such as airport consulting, design, management and aviation human factors. Beyond the classroom, human factors & safety with flight program degree majors build leadership and professional experience through internships and participation in academic organizations like Collegiate Aviation Business Executives, a student chapter of American Association of Airport Executives, the Falcons Intercollegiate Flight Team, Women in Aviation, Student Government and over 100 other campus-wide student organizations.
As a senior working towards the human factors & safety with flight program degree, you complete advanced course work in airport management, aviation security, advanced aircraft systems and aviation law. You also get the opportunity to meet recruiters from major airlines, airports and industry-related companies at university career fairs. As a result, you get an expanded professional network and perhaps even a job offer before graduation.
