M.S Computer Science from Florida Institute of Technology Overview
Florida Tech’s Master of Science in Computer Science program, offered through the College of Engineering and Science, provides students with a strong foundation in advanced computing principles, algorithms, and software design, preparing them for leadership roles in industry, research, or academia. This 2-year, 30-credit program admits students in both the fall and spring semesters and welcomes applicants from a variety of academic backgrounds, not limited to computer science. A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required, and Indian students must hold a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class standing in a relevant field. GRE scores are recommended to strengthen the application. Applicants must also demonstrate English language proficiency through one of several accepted tests. Required documents include transcripts, recommendation letters, a résumé, statement of objectives, and a $60 application fee. With a curriculum designed to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving tech industry, this program prepares graduates for advanced computing careers and research opportunities. Florida Institute of Technology accepts almost all English proficiency exams, such as IELTS, PTE for international students admission. Indian students with excellent scores are eligible for the Zonta International Scholarship in which Amount Varies or The Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program offers $2500.
