Important Dates
Messiah University has rolling admissions, meaning there is no deadline by which to apply. The application is free from approximately July 1, when it is made available, through Nov. 15.
- The three-dimensional studies concentration is offered through the studio art major, as a B.A. and BFA, and the art education major. Students can select from a variety of sculptural processes working with stone, wood, and metals among other materials. In ceramics, students can choose either throwing or hand-building and learn the related technical skills of clay, glazes, and firing techniques. In fibers, there are classes in weaving, wearable arts, and dyeing and printing techniques. Also, students can learn about papermaking and book structures along with furniture design.
