Bachelor [Integrated Program in Humane Studies] From Kenyon College

The first-year course combines weekly lectures, small seminars, and one-on-one student-faculty tutorials. Building on their first-year experience, students who continue in IPHS go on to a third seminar that continues the odyssey of the west from the Great War to the present. Thereafter, students who choose a concentration in IPHS take two advanced seminars on topics ranging from art and Eros to Dante and Machiavelli. An IPHS concentration culminates in a semester-long senior project of directed independent study research.
