Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Elmira, you’ll be eligible to enter the workforce as a registered nurse. Or you may choose to continue to graduate school to become a nurse practitioner, nurse educator, nurse anesthetist, or nurse administrator. Our emphasis on experiential learning means that whichever path you follow, you’ll be ready to pursue it with confidence.

In fact, all nursing students begin clinicals in their sophomore year and then complete a career-related internship at a hospital in the third term of the senior year. Some students also complete an internship at a hospital during the summer between the junior and senior years.

You will complete rigorous academic coursework to enhance critical-thinking and clinical-reasoning skills.
