What Students Say
Likes
- The campus life is really good
- Infrastructure is one of the key things about the university.
- Professors are approachable and kind.
Dislikes
- One thing I didn't like was the accommodation options for masters students. It was limited as compared to undergraduates.
Course Curriculum
10
- Usually just one subject per day, and it lasts around 2-3 hrs per day with different sessions and breaks in between.
- Average students in class is 45.
Admission Experience
- I chose this university because of the course I wanted to take, and it was accredited by AACSB. Also, the university comes under university of London, which gives me a competitive edge while applying for jobs. Another important factor was that it had approximately 80% placement rates for graduates.
- My scores - IELTS - 7.5 Bands
- Undergraduate - 60%
Faculty
8
- The faculty is really nice, and they teach well. It's more of a practical and interactive teaching, which makes understanding very easy. For me, it was Professor Harindranath who left an incredible impact on you in the very first sem itself.
Campus Life
10
- There are 2 campus one in London and one in Egham ( I'm studying here ). There are more than 10 clubs and societies to join, which keeps you engaged throughout the year and help you connect with a lot of people, and apart from that, you can join university sports teams.
Part Time Jobs
- If you have a national insurance number, you get paid a minimum of £12.21 per hour. You can work upto 20 hours per week during term time and upto 40 hours during vacation. It's a bit challenging to get a part-time job on campus as there are a lot of students applying.
Placement
8
- Around 70-80% students get placed after completing, but it needs the hardwork and dedication too. There are placements at the university and multiple job fairs that happen on campus, which help us connect with the companies, and also, there's a placement cell that helps us and keeps us updated with openings every day.
Accommodation
Off Campus
6
- I checked university accommodation first, but for master's students, there were very limited options, so I checked various websites, but the best was spareroom which makes things easy for you. My monthly rent is £11150, it includes all my bills with free WiFi, and I have my own room and washroom; only the living room and kitchen are shared by 3 others.
Exams
- IELTS - 6 and above
- Undergraduate - 55% and above
Fees
- For my course, it is £28500. There n number of scholarships they offer, which you can apply for and you'll get your fees waived off accordingly. In my case, I got £6500- It's for Indian students.
