Course Curriculum
- The difficulty level of your course curriculum is moderate with more focused on practical than theory.
- Positive aspect is that m studying the course i enjoy Chemistry and got to work in Chemistry lab. The education is open here that i can attend any class i like.
- They arrange lots of seminars , meetings that enhance my communication skills and introduce my to diverse people of different expertise.
- I am PhD student. My post doc is Indian. I have 2 supervisors one primary and one secondary. Teaching methodology is though Research update and sessions of that in every week. In our research lab in every week we discuss reaction mechanism that helps in clear concepts. After that we have one-to-one interactions with supervisor to communicate any problems.

- Max Planck ,Germany - Got the interview but they rejected after 15 days
- University of Barcelona, Spain- Supervisor accepted the application but didn't get the Scholarship
- University of Nottingham, UK- Supervisor accepted through interview but Panel rejected
- Birmingham University, UK- Supervisor accepted through interview but Panel rejected
- Australian National University, Canberra- Professor was interested first then after interview he said no positions are left
- Prude University, USA- Got selected through application but after English interview they rejected
- University of Groningen- Professor is approving but not update in Application
- CNRS, Paris- Cleared 2 rounds of interview with supervisor but panel rejected in last round

- I applied this college through Twitter. My supervisor posted on the twitter and i arranged a chat with supervisor. I applied for this interesting project as it aligns with my research interest and find my supervisor very supportive.
- The application process is simple for Queen's university Belfast.
- First Check for relevant project and funding details, then apply through the portal and they will provide real time update for the application. They will ask for official transcript for education, TOEFEL and marksheets of qualifying exams that vary with courses.
- My panel that taken my interview give the result on the same day that's the best part of process.
- At last there is need to made a profile on CAS Shield on to which there is a need to upload ATAS certificate( this takes the most time to come from UK gov), TB certificate and other details.

- I applied for 2024-25 intake, i was trying from last 1 year to get a suitable position for my PhD. The admission process for queen's is smooth And timelines goes like - Advertised on Twitter handle of Supervisor, Arranging a meet with him, Applying Through Queen' Portal, Panel interview after 30 days. Result on the same day of interview. Got a conditional Offer letter. Fulfilled the Conditions then got the unconditional offer letter.
Campus Life
- Queen's University has two campuses. The main campus is located on the southern fringes of Belfast city centre, and there are also two associated university colleges, St Mary's and Stranmillis, located in the west and south-west of the city respectively
- Microscopy facility, Academic Facilities, The McClay Library Award-Winning Library, One Elmwood, Students Accommodation, The Graduate School, Arts at Queen's, Queen's Film Theatre.

- Queen's Accommodation online website. I opted for Studio apartment that cost $940 per month that includes heating, electricity, Gym, TV, kitchen. I will recommend future students to take sharing rooms as they are cheap else is your convince.
- My accommodation is near to University area and its walk of around 15 min. Many INDIAN Students lives in Willow walk and other accommodations of Queen's.
Exams
- TOEFEL/ IELTS, Statement of Purpose, LOR, CV, Research Proposal, Academic Transcripts with Formal Letter.
- First a formal Interview with Supervisor and formats include my presentation from masters program and chat with supervisor.
- Panel interviews held with 2 person of Chemistry School, format for that is Introduction session, Presentation of My research work, Questions on my Work, General Questions.

Scholarship
- I received PhD studentship under EPSRC they cover the tuition fees and living stipend.
- Annual tuition: £25,600 and Stipend of £1608 for a month.
- Eligibility criteria:- The proposed project must fall within the EPSRC remit
- Demonstrate a clear commitment to remaining in academia
- PhD thesis submission must be within six months prior to starting the fellowship
- Hold qualifications or experience equal to an honours degree at a first or upper second class level, or a masters from a UK academic research organisation
- Hold fellowships aimed at later career stages from EPSRC, Royal Society, or Royal Academy of Engineering
- Residency status determines eligibility for full fees and stipend
