Likes
- First and major of all is the flexibility of the program wherein you can attend online classes along with your corporate life was a plus for me. There were no requirement of entrance exams and with two years of professional experience you can qualify for the course. Liverpool is one among the reputed universities of US and have a great curriculum that one could expect.
- The faculty is really supporting and helpful in terms of thesis and the approach is really meaningful and there is always something to learn from them, be it the problem solving approach or the international exposure.
Dislikes
- The fee for the immersion program seems to be on the higher side and the duration of the immersion program could have been increased for the on campus visit. The exposure that university offers is really helpful in the job market and it also provides an international exposure tag making ur cv looks outstanding.
Overall experience seems to be pretty smooth and knowledge packed. One can really learn and get a vast exposure just by the comfort of sitting at their homes.
Course Curriculum
The course is updated to the current market trends and techniques that are to be equipped by the students. Curriculum offers a vast exposure wherein you can explore different domains in the first phase and choose your niche proceeding with the syllabus, along with it you get the optional feature to access all the other domains along with an elective subject of students choice.
Faculty
This part of the course is really well-managed by the team. We had constant buddy support along with the subject teachers. During the final session, we were also assigned a Thesis Supervisor who would look upon the thesis stepwise and monitor constantly. There was a thorough support by the mentors, faculties and buddies from upgrad.
Campus Life
For this program, we have two options, wherein one is to just complete the course online and the other one offers one week of campus visit, wherein you get to experience the campus life in liverpool and various educational sessions and webinars are also held, along with it there is a city tour in the package as well.
Placement
There are various job listings provided over the app, through emails and even telephone. There is an placement team where in different groups are also made as per the domains and job listings are being circulated in them. One can look for jobs along with the program as well.
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided in the college premises and hostels and is thoroughly taken care by the college staff and wardens.
Exams
Two Years of Work Experience is required and no scores of CAT GRE is needed.. Only marksheets of graduation and high school scores are required
