Academic Requirement

Applicants must hold a high school or secondary school diploma from an accredited board that has been approved by the UAE Ministry of Education or a comparable international organization. A Class 12 certificate (CBSE, ICSE, or equivalent) with a minimum grade of 70% or higher (CGPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale) is required for Indian applicants. Candidates must have a minimum high school grade of 70% or above and show strong academic standing in mathematics, physics, and one science subject (such as biology or chemistry). It is advised to have SAT math scores. Applicants must demonstrate computer proficiency through the university's Computer Proficiency Exam and pass the Accuplacer placement test in mathematics, which is administered by AUD. For up to two terms, applicants who don't have enough coursework in physics or a second science may be admitted conditionally, provided they finish PHYS201, BIOL201, or CHEM201 with at least a C grade.
