- The Master´s degree program in Quantum Engineering from ETH Zurich is a new field at the interface of quantum physics, electrical engineering, and IT. It exploits the laws of quantum physics to develop technologies outperforming classical engineering approaches. Quantum technologies will fundamentally change classical engineering paradigms in computing, information processing, and measurement technology.

Students obtain a solid foundation in quantum theory and engineering skills from a selection of core courses offered by the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering and the Department of Physics at ETH Zurich.

The curriculum is supplemented by a broad range of elective courses covering the entire range of science and technology. The Master in Quantum Engineering at ETH has a strong project-oriented learning component including active participation in industrial and academic research projects
