This international Master's programme focuses on frontline knowledge in the field of experimental cardiovascular medicine. The programme is organised as a two-year problem-based learning (PBL) study programme and is coordinated by the Cardiovascular Research Centre at ?rebro University in close cooperation with other research groups in Europe.
The programme is concerned with the understanding of cellular and molecular mechanisms related to the pathogenesis and pathophysiology of cardiovascular diseases. In focus are new pharmacological and interventional therapies for future treatments of cardiovascular diseases. The goals are that the students shall acquire in-depth theoretical knowledge and excellent methodological skills including in vivo and in vitro models used to study cardiovascular disease.
Career
This Master?s programme will prepare students for research career at universities and pharmaceutical, biomedical, biotechnical and health care industries.
