Getting my Master's from University West

I had applied to 3 universities in Sweden on my own without any help from consultancies. With my percentage, I got into the University West.

Eventually it was hard for me to communicate with all the people but when I was travelling it became easy as a part of studying. It was a nice experience here. I learned great things here and with my master?s degree I have improved my analytical skills, communication abilities and leadership capabilities. I have also worked here as a student ambassador which has improved my team work skills and communication skills. When I came here it was very difficult for me to cope up and it became very stressful to manage everything and the deadlines. But the faculty here is very helpful, if you cannot manage any deadline they will provide hints about how to do the work.

The faculty here are more helpful and the difference is not that much. The thing is that the faculty here helps you more regarding your studies like if you are not understanding anything they will give you hints and tell you how to do it. They will not tell you the exact answer but give you hints to solve the problem with your own skills. In India, they will mostly help you with the answer but here they give you the hints that help you develop your skills more. They also give your proper guidance like what opportunities are there related to your skills.

There is an International Office and Service Center which provides every details and answer any query. If any teacher is not available they will ask them to help us. The International Office provides complete information like if you have any healthcare issue then they will tell you where to proceed and they provide information regarding accommodation or if you want to get a job then how to proceed further. Overall it was a nice experience here and it helped me to explore more.

Here we have so many opportunities that are not like internships but they are called job fairs where we meet so many companies like we talk what kind of work they are doing and what new type of technology is involved in their company and we can meet companies from every sector like IT, robotics and automation or social film. We can go to them and ask for opportunities.

Here we do not have anything like a house help so you have to cook for yourself. Here there are 2 types of houses, one with a shared kitchen and individual rooms and studio apartments. I am living in a studio apartment so here I have a bedroom, living room and kitchen so I have to cook my own food. There is nothing like a lunch system but you can go for it but it will be additional. Laundry is shared which is very eco friendly and a sustainable model where the whole hostel has a single laundry system. There is an application from where you have to book the slot. Slots are for 3 hours so you will be given a slot and it is very easy and convenient.
