Course Curriculum
During my time in academics, unfortunately, there was no scope for industrial exposure or research experience.
Placement
Job opportunities for Postdocs in academia were infrequent and you need to know the local language to be eligible to apply for most of the industrial jobs.
Accommodation
A studio apartment was provided by the University initially, but I was encouraged to look for a bigger and better accommodation later because it was meant for initial days only. The monthly rent was 5000 SEK (1 SEK= INR 8) and it included everything other than internet.
Exams
For Postdoctoral Researcher, an appropriate research experience from Ph.D, acquaintance with required laboratory techniques and publication records are necessary selection criteria.
Events
We had well-equipped library, internet connection as well as sports facilities and different clubs to support our extracurricular interests.
