National University of Singapore Tuition Fees Payment

Students’ Review on Reddit: Some students say that Global and merit scholarships include allowances that help with accommodation and overseas experiences, and can be significantly valuable. Some scholarships, like the Global/Merit scholarships, are often limited to certain nationalities or competitive, and some students incorrectly assume they automatically cover living costs (but they don’t for internationals).

Return on Investment after Studying at NUS

The National University of Singapore does not publish its official ROI percentage on its official website. However, the official graduate outcome officially indicates strong chances of employment after graduating from NUS. Students can encounter success across many academic disciplines. NUS is a globally recognised university that helps students with careers worldwide.

  • As per the data published on 24 February 2025 on the News section of NUS, around 88-90% of fresh graduates are employed within 6 months of completing their degree.
  • Nearly all graduates in Accountancy, Dentistry and Materials Science & Engineering secured jobs, with employment rates ranging from about 96% to 100%.
  • The median gross monthly salary of NUS graduates in full-time permanent jobs was about SGD 4,600 | INR 3.30 Lakhs in 2024. This figure increased from SGD 4,400 | INR 3.16 Lakhs in 2023, showing rising earning potential over time.
  • According to the National University of Singapore, graduates from fields like Business, Engineering, Science, Law and Healthcare have strong job outcomes.

Students’ Review on Reddit: Many Reddit posts express confusion or concern about part-time work opportunities. Users claimed it might be hard to find a part-time job as an international student, and local jobs might favour locals. For PhD students, comments suggest that side jobs are generally not allowed (beyond research pay) and that stipends vary widely across departments.

Indian students aiming for 2026 admission to the National University of Singapore can expect a well-structured and transparent cost framework. The university clearly outlines tuition fee ranges, follows a semester-based billing system, provides multiple international payment methods, and offers detailed estimates of living expenses to help students plan their finances effectively. From MBA to PhD programs, costs vary significantly by discipline, so selecting the right course directly impacts your total investment. With scholarships, research funding, and Singapore’s strong industry ecosystem, the real value of NUS lies in how well you align your academic choice with your long-term career goals.
