University of Kansas scholarships for international students are offered at undergraduate level in the form of merit-based awards. The awards are available for newly admitted undergraduate students in the spring and fall semesters. International students coming to University of Kansas in the spring semesters may avail merit scholarships ranging from 12,000 to 36,000 USD (9.92 lakhs to 29.78 lakhs INR) for 4 years and 3,000 to 9,000 USD (2.48 lakhs to 7.44 lakhs INR) per annum. Those admitted in the fall semesters may receive an academic award between the range of 32,000 to 64,000 USD (26.47 lakhs to 52.94 lakhs INR) for 4 years and 8,000 to 16,000 USD (6.61 lakhs to 13.23 lakhs) per year.

International students transferring from other college/university are also eligible for 2 University of Kansas scholarships based on their academic performance. There are no scholarships available for graduate students at University of Kansas. However, the international students can make themselves eligible for graduate assistantships upon their admission. The graduate assistantships generally waives 25-100% tuition fee of qualifying graduate students. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is recommended for graduate assistantships and GPA of 3.25 or above is required for undergraduate scholarships.

The University of Kansas scholarships for undergraduate students are offered by the KU international admissions office. There are no scholarships available for the 2024 academic term. However, international students applying for spring or fall 2024 may apply for the merit-based scholarships by the specified deadline. These awards can be renewed if the students remain enrolled full-time with a GPA of 3.0 in academic year.
