The National Association of High School Scholars honors and recognizes outstanding high school students from around the world. Founded in 2002 by Claes Nobel, the motive of NSHSS scholarships is to promote and encourage the academic achievement of high school students by providing a variety of benefits and resources to its members. Eligibility Criteria

International students must achieve the below mentioned eligibility requirements to make themselves considered for NSHSS scholarships:

Once you join NSHSS, you are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Different scholarship requirements vary, so it’s important to review award information carefully to determine your eligibility.
You must be a current member to qualify for one of the NSHSS scholarships.
GPA of at least 3.0-3.5 (85-90%) are eligible to participate on an invite-only NSHSS basis.
Applicants for a particular course may be eligible for scholarships, while others may require evidence of demonstrated leadership or volunteerism. Verify the prerequisites for each scholarship before applying.

Application Process

The application procedure for NSHSS Scholarships that a candidate must follow is given below:

Utilize your member ID and password to log in to the NSHSS website.
Visit the scholarships area of the website to review the scholarships offered.
Select the scholarship you wish to apply for and click the "Apply" button.
Describe your academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community involvement in your scholarship.
Write an essay responding to the scholarship application essay prompt.
Request letters of recommendation from teachers, guidance counselors, or other adults who can speak to your character and academic success.
Submit your application by the cut-off date.

The selection criteria for NSHSS Scholarships that a candidate must pass through is based on the following aspects:

A variety of scholarships are available for National High School Scholars Society (NSHSS) members. It is important to research and apply for a grant as soon as possible. While some of those scholarships have a deadline in early October or early November, others may have a spring or summer deadline. Give yourself plenty of time to gather all required materials as some scholarships may require additional materials such as an essay, essay, or letters of recommendation.
