The Alliance of International Science Organisations (ANSO) provides scholarships to students applying for programs related to science and technology at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), and other colleges recognised by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The Anso scholarships offer 3000 Yen to 7,000 Yuan for master’s and PhD programs. The scholarship prefers students with excellent academic records, research abilities, and a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline. ANSO is a merit-based scholarship that grants tuition fee waivers and additional benefits for 36 to 48 months.

Eligibility Criteria

The ANSO scholarship includes 100 programs like agriculture, physics, astronomy, chemical sciences, molecular biology, neurosciences, engineering sciences, and similar fields. The students must fulfil the following eligibility criteria and submit the required documents within the deadline to be eligible for the ANSO scholarship in Chinese universities.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have citizenship of the country listed on the official website.
  • Must be a bachelor’s or master’s degree holder in human well-being, science, and technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree qualification certificate.
  • Proficiency in English and the Chinese language
  • The applicant must be below 35 years.
  • Completed practical research and thesis in USTC, UCAS, or any other CAS institute.
  • The applicant must not enrol in any other program during the scholarship.
  • The applicants must complete the assignments during the scholarship.

Documents Required:

  • English language proficiency (IELTS or TOEFL) scores.
  • Letters of recommendation of professors or associate professors with their contact details.
