Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are different for different scholarships. Having a Polish visa and a certificate of English proficiency is the basic requirement for candidates applying from outside of Europe along with having good scores, and extra-curricular activities accordingly. Many scholarship programs require a bachelor’s/ master’s degree or a PhD as part of their eligibility criteria.

Documents Required:

There is a list of documents required by Polish universities for admission into their courses. A candidate is needed to produce the below mentioned documents during the application process:-

  • Matriculation certificate
  • 1 academic reference and 1 personal reference
  • University application form
  • Proof of English language proficiency
  • Medical certificate
  • 4 passport-size photographs
  • Copy of the ID
  • Proof of family income/ ability to pay the admission fee

Application Process

There are a few basic things that will still be required such as Visa and Language proficiency certificates. To apply for a Poland Scholarship in top Polish universities, an applicant must check eligibility requirements and guidelines before applying. Here is a general step by step for the application process:-

  • Visit the official website of the scholarship program
  • Fill out the application form and enter all necessary information and details
  • Prepare necessary documents for availing the Polish visa
  • Prepare for the language proficiency test

An academic year at a Polish university is divided into 2 semesters starting in October and ending by the end of June. There are 15 weeks each and the two semesters are known as fall and spring semesters respectively. The deadlines for many Poland Scholarships end around mid-July to mid-August.
