  • The efforts have thus far been successful, but now is not the time to let up on this progress.
  • Women are being encouraged to pursue STEM more now than ever before. 
  • Three applicants will be awarded of $5000 each.
  • Additionally, scholarships are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded and will not be paid to academic institutions outside of the United States.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Financial Background: Low- income
  • Gender: Female
  • Education Level: High school senior or undergraduate
  • Major: STEM
  • Must be a STEM course from an academic institutions in United States
  • To apply, answer a series of short essay questions about yourself and your goals for the future.


Application Process

  • Applicants must meet the scholarship’s eligibility requirements, submit a complete application through the Bold.org platform by the application deadline, and agree to be bound by Official Scholarship Rules.
  • Bold.org expressly reserves the right to disqualify any applicant and/or applications that are inaccurate, incomplete, or that Bold.org believes in good faith to be generated by an automated means or scripts or are the result of plagiarism.
  • Answer the following short essay questions (250 words each).
    • Please tell us a bit about yourself and what specifically motivates you. If you could do anything with your life, what do you imagine you’d do?
    • What excites you about STEM? How do you feel you could make a positive impact on the world through a job in information technology? 
    • Please describe the greatest challenge you’ve had to overcome and how you managed to get past it. 
  • Winners will be announced on Jul 10, 2024.
  • Prior to the announcement date, they may contact finalists with additional questions about their application

Selection Process

  • Accepted scholarship applications will be reviewed by representatives of Bold.org or the scholarship provider to determine the winner of each scholarship.
  • All decisions regarding the scholarship, including without limitation the selection of the winner, shall be final and binding in all respects.
  • Bold.org reserves the right not to award a scholarship if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive any qualified applications.

Grant Details

  • After successful notification of a scholarship award and verification, Bold.org will provide payment of the award to the scholarship winner’s accredited academic institution to be applied towards tuition after receiving proof of enrollment.
  • Unless otherwise stated, no scholarship monies will be paid directly to the winner.
