Leicester College of Science and Engineering Postgraduate Scholarship is an entrance and merit-based program designed for international students. The scholarship program is valid for all the master’s programs of the University of Leicester.

A scholarship award of 3,000 GBP will be offered to applicant with Degree equivalent to UK higher 2^nd upper class and 5,000 GBP will be given to those with Uk 1^st class degree.

Leicester College of Science and Engineering Postgraduate Scholarship is a tuition fee waiver program.
- Fee reduction is calculated based on the standard tuition fee of the PG program.
Scholarship is not applicable for overseas exchange or periods of industrial placement.

Recipients of the Leicester College of Science and Engineering Postgraduate Scholarship are given a tuition fee reduction of GBP 3000 to GBP 6000. However, based on their academic performance at the UG level, they are offered a tuition fee waiver equivalent to 22% or 28%. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Leicester College of Science and Engineering Postgraduate Scholarship is given below:

An international student belonging to one of the eligible countries.
Beginning full-time masters program at the University of Leicester.
- Commencing program in the September semester.

Application Process

There is no need for a separate application for the Leicester College of Science and Engineering Postgraduate Scholarship.

All the eligible candidates will be automatically considered for the scholarship program.

Selection Process

Applications of eligible candidates, who have secured admission at the University of Leicester, will be forwarded to the selection committee.

Based on the applicant’s academic records, LORs, and scores of exams to study in the UK, students will be awarded the Leicester College of Science and Engineering Postgraduate Scholarship.

Grant Details

Depending upon the academic scores of the Leicester College of Science and Engineering Postgraduate Scholarship recipients, an award between GBP 3000 and GBP 6000 is distributed. This provides students with small financial support to study in the UK.

The Postgraduate Scholarship applicants who satisfy the standard entrance requirements of their chosen program are rewarded an amount equivalent to 22% of their annual Leicester tuition fee. Furthermore, those achieving higher-level scores (tabulated below) are given an award equivalent to 28% of their tuition fees.
