The International Ambassador Scholarship is a competitive scholarship opportunity offered by the University of West London. The scholarship is awarded to international fee-paying students at the University of West London who want to study in the UK.

Eligibility Criteria
UWL International Ambassador Scholarship is eligible for both undergraduate and postgraduate international students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from the University of West London, UK. Besides, students are also required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. Applicant must be:
- International fee-paying student
- self-funded and full fees paying students
- holder of an admission offer from the university for a full-time undergraduate or graduate program
The UWL International Ambassador Scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis to applicants showcasing enthusiasm and the ability to be an excellent international student ambassador. Applicants must make sure to submit their scholarship applications on time.
Application Process
All international eligible students who have received offers of admission at the University of West London may apply for the scholarship. A separate UWL International Ambassador Scholarship application is required that can be completed offline and emailed to the university.

- extracurricular activities and interests
- contact details of an academic reference
- scholarship support statements (max. 300 words each for four questions
Selection Process
The University considers all eligible candidates on a case by case basis. Scholars selected for the UWL International Ambassador Scholarship must be on a Tier 4 student visa to the UK. Since UWL International Ambassador Scholarship is awarded to students on a merit-basis, the most important factors looked for in an application are
- Academic brilliance of the student
- Any personal achievements of the student
- Answers are given in the scholarship application
- Potential to act as a university ambassador
The university reserves the right in awarding the scholarships to the students. A successful candidate will be notified about their successful application through an email sent within 14 days after the closing dates.
Grant Details
The University of West London awards exceptional candidates with proven academic and achievement records. A total of 100 International Ambassador Scholarships worth GBP 5,000 are awarded to international students seeking studies in the UK at UWL for the January, May or September intake.
Terms and Conditions
- This scholarship is awarded one time only and is not renewable.
- Students who accept the International Ambassador Scholarships will be expected to act as active representatives of the university.
- This would include participation in promotional activities and consent to be interviewed and photographed by the university’s marketing department.
- Students will not receive any additional payment for their participation in promotional activities.
- Further, students are required to hand over to the university any property or other rights of such promotional activities.
